CHRISTMAS EVENT BRANDING

A shopping centre at the ‘Paris-end’ of Collins St in Melbourne’s CBD was hosting a number of weekly events throughout December to encourage Christmas shopping as well as to reinforce their positioning ‘Where the best of Melbourne collides’ with a soft launch of their recently updated brand.

 

We decided on an illustration based execution inspired by 50’s atomic style, resulting in a classy execution of cliche/overused Christmas colours, that still communicates the energy from the ‘collision’ of the best of Melbourne.

 

We wanted to make Christmas shopping at Collins place feel like an oasis away from Christmas mania and the lunchtime hustle. A place of leisure and indulgence, an adult Christmas that is more cocktails and canapés and less toys and tinsel.
